Here’s a very unique, healthy, surprisingly tasty smoothie recipe.

It’s modeled after a recipe created by Dr. Mark Hyman. I made a few tweaks to make it, in my opinion, even healthier and more delicious.

 

Ingredients:

1/2 (or one small) beet, peeled (can be cooked or uncooked)

1/2 cup frozen cauliflower rice

1/4 of an avocado

Big handful of baby spinach

6-7 strawberries

2 scoops grass-fed simple vanilla whey protein (I buy this one)

3 walnuts

1/2 cup cashew milk (more as needed)

1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Handful of fresh mint leaves (optional)

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients in a blender and pulse until fully smooth.

Serves 1.
